This weekend, the Executive Board drove down to Atlanta, GA to attend the Carlson Leadership Academy. We had the opportunity to network with brothers from universities such as the University of Alabama, Georgia Tech, and James Madison University. Best practices were heavily discussed, and the Executive Board left Atlanta with many new ideas on ways to improve chapter operations.
We also enjoyed listening to our speaker John Doughney, Managing Global Client Partner at Facebook. John, a 2002 graduate of SigEp Florida State, spoke about the importance of making bold decisions as a leader. We leave this conference knowing that some of the best leaders are also some of the best listeners.
